SUPERCAM Poster
CN012
You are on Mars to meet Perseverance, the rover of the Mars 2020 Mission launched by NASA in summer 2020. At its head, the SuperCam laser camera, developed by the French scientific community and CNES in collaboration with LANL (Los Alamos National Laboratory), promises to capture colourful data and images. Its lasers heat rocks and vibrate molecules to search for traces of life and select samples that will one day be brought back to Earth. Mars will have (almost) no secrets for you.
